We’re too mad – do you ever feel that? We’re out alone, in our insanity. With our madness. With no one to talk to except each other.
We’re so dreadfully alone with what we Know. With what we’ve burdened to Know. What loneliness! Just us and our madness, wandering the campus.
We’ve gone too far! We’ve been sent too far! Who else is as crazy as we are? As deranged?
Have we sent each other mad? Have we deranged each other? Accelerated each other? Spent too much time together? Allowed each other to become … this?
Or is it, by contrast, the condition of our approaching the truth? Of drawing close to the Real and the True?
Are we being prepared? If so, what for? Is it given to us to know? Do we serve a divine purpose? Are we on the side of God. But what God? And where’s God? And where’s anything?
Hasn’t there got to be a limit to our madness? Isn’t there something that will calm us down?
Madness is tiring. Day and night insanity …
